Vulvar veins are treated with foam ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. An anaesthetic cream is applied for one hour prior to the procedure. The abnormal veins are identified on ultrasound and injected with a sclerosing agent. Patients are required to wear compression garments after the procedure for 2 weeks. The treatment is usually very successful and the Vulvar veins disappear a few weeks after the treatment.
